Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
STEMBOTIKS respects your privacy and the privacy of your children. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, our programmes and the InnoCode platform.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by STEMBOTIKS, a Ghanaian learning company based at No. 5 New Legon Road, Adenta-Accra, Ghana. We are committed to protecting personal information in line with the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
2. Information we collect
Information you provide to us: when you contact us, enrol in a programme or make an enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, your child's name and age, school details and any other information you choose to share.
Enrolment information: Vacation School enrolment is completed through a Google Forms form. Information submitted through that form (for example, names, contact details and programme preferences) is collected by Google and shared with us.
Information we do not collect: this website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies of its own, and we do not collect payment card details online. We do not sell personal information.
3. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you when you email us at info@stembotiks.com, call or message us on +233 551 244 247, or submit an enrolment form. We do not collect information automatically when you browse this website.
4. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to respond to enquiries, process and manage programme enrolment, communicate programme updates and schedules, provide our services, send relevant information about our programmes, and comply with legal obligations. We may also use de-identified or aggregated information to improve our programmes.
5. Legal basis for processing
Under the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), we process personal information on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract (for example, enrolment in a programme), compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating our learning company.
6. Children's privacy
Our programmes are designed for children and young people. We collect information about children only from, or with the consent of, their parents or legal guardians, and only for the purpose of delivering our programmes. A parent or guardian may review, update or request deletion of their child's information at any time by contacting us.
We will never use a child's information for marketing without the express consent of the parent or guardian.
7. Cookies and third-party services
This website does not set cookies itself. However, third-party services embedded in the site may set their own cookies or collect limited information:
- • Google Forms — used for Vacation School enrolment; Google's own privacy policy applies to data submitted through the form.
- • Google Maps — embedded on our contact page; Google may collect usage data and set cookies.
- • Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google; Google may receive your IP address.
- • Social media and external sites — links to Facebook, Instagram and other external sites; their own privacy policies apply.
8. Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share information only with trusted third parties who help us deliver our services — such as Google for enrolment forms — and only to the extent needed, and with law enforcement or regulators where required by law.
9. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, manage enrolment records, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. Enrolment records are generally retained for a reasonable period after a programme concludes.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure. Please note that no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your rights
Under the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, withdraw consent at any time, and object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@stembotiks.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
12. International transfers
Some third-party services we use, such as Google Forms and Google Maps, may process data on servers outside Ghana. By using these services, your information may be transferred internationally in accordance with the privacy practices of those providers.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
